Care: Fine with some careful cactus care
Light Levels: Cacti thrive in bright rooms, with lots of light available throughout the day. South facing windows are great, West and East totally appropriate, whereas North facing might prove a little tricky through the darker winter months.
Water + Humidity: Water well from below and allow to soak well in the growing season (May to Aug). Once the pot is dry and feels light, it’s time to water again. A good drainage pot is essential. Keep away from draughty spots as water + cold = an unhappy root system. Some cactus plant food once a month in spring/summer really boosts growth. Avoid overwatering in winter when cacti go dormant.
