AKA Blue feather cactus
The care of the Pilosocereus is relatively simple. It prefers a sunny location and well-drained soil. The plant requires little water and it is important to prevent the soil from becoming waterlogged as this can lead to root rot. During the winter months the plant is better off not being watered, to prevent frost damage. Regular fertilisation during the growing season is recommended.
