Light Levels: These plants will be ok in semi-shade, although to stop the leaves from fading they would prefer a position in a bright room, just out of direct sun.
Water + Humidity: Moisture in the air helps keep their leaves healthy. The best way to provide that is with regular misting. Aim to keep the soil damp, but never wet (good drainage in your pot is essential). Keep away from draughty spots as water + cold = an unhappy root system. Some plant food once a month in spring/summer really boosts growth.
