Camellia oil is the preferred choice for cleaning Japanese carbon steel tools and conditioning wooden handles. It acts as a protective barrier, helping to prevent rust and keep moving parts in order. It’s also non-toxic and odourless, making it safe for kitchen knives.
For the best results, remove sap or resin with the mini clean mate. Then dry the item thoroughly before applying a thin layer of Camellia Oil using a clean cloth.
